What will the generator crawl?
It reads the homepage, finds up to 10 pages on the same site, and asks you to choose the sources. Only selected pages are fetched for the final files.
Can I edit the generated files?
Yes. Both drafts are editable in the browser before you copy or download them. Review titles, descriptions, links, and section choices before publishing.
Is llms-full.txt required?
No. llms-full.txt is a useful ecosystem convention, but the current version 2 proposal does not define or require it. The generator includes it as an optional convenience.
Where should I publish the files?
Most sites publish llms.txt at the root, such as example.com/llms.txt. Version 2 also allows a file under a subpath when it describes that part of a site.
